We’ve just wrapped up a series on why blogging can be helpful for a B&B. In that same vein, here are a few B&B blogs that are informative and up to date, and might help you decide either on what to write about or, if you’re still on the fence, whether blogging might help you or not. Plus, I’ve added a few resources that might also help.

Resources
I’ve also gathered up a few blogs that can serve as resources for you when you’re thinking about your own blog: They offer ideas and tips for posting that can be helpful for both new and seasoned bloggers.
BedandBreakfast.com keeps a blog going where they highlight certain member B&Bs or types of B&Bs. The entire site has useful info for B&Bs, but the blog can be helpful if you’re trying to find examples of B&Bs who have made it work for them.
Chef Forfeng has tips that cover blogging and social media.
The Bed & Breakfast Club is a dedicated resource for the B&Bs of the British Isles.

Well, running a B&B is a lot more work than people think. You have to be available at all hours of every day 365. It is not for everyone. Like they say, running a B&B is not just a job, it is a lifestyle. Good points are you can write just about everything off so you pretty much live for free and it pays your mortgage, you get to work together if you have a significant other, you meet lots of nice people from all over the place, you get to polish your cooking skills and your house is usually really clean and organized (feels nice). http://www.arrowheadmanor.com
